How my Personalized Birth Bows are created

The first birth ribbon  was requested by a friend of mine years ago … it was 2017.

I still remember that day because it was summer and very hot. One afternoon she came to me, she was very overheated and quite discouraged because there was just under a month until the birth and she wanted a birth ribbon for her baby girl.

After a week spent wandering around shops,  she hadn’t found anything that resembled even vaguely the idea she had in mind.

She then asked me: “Paola, you who always paint, can you make me a birth ribbon with the name? I was thinking of something with a little bear, to hang in the nursery, come on, you do it, I trust you”

Well… obviously I replied yes, I love drawing projects for children!

How did it end up? She liked it so much that not only does she come back to me every time she needs a birth ribbon …

She also told her friends who always arrive with their ideas !!

Thus was born … in a nearly entirely natural way my collection Country Painting Baby dedicated to:

Personalized Birth Bows.

Why give a Personalized Birth Bow?

There are many ways to say “I care about you” without saying “I care about you”. Did you eat? … Cover up, it's cold … Call when you arrive…

Giving a personalized birth bow is one of these.

Devoting your time to someone, thinking of giving them something absolutely unique and original is a great demonstration of affection.

How is a Birth Bow created?

All Birth Bows are  entirely handmade and unique.

They are hand-painted and crafted with the utmost attention to detail. They can be used as a decorative element for the nursery or hung on the door.

– They respect the environment and last over time because: they are made from high-quality wood 100% Made in Italy and painted only with water-based acrylic colors, thus free of harmful substances.

– They are Customizable and this makes them unique!

You can find two types of models:

Simple models : consisting of a single shape.

Three-dimensional models : consisting of two or more overlapping shapes that create a “three-dimensional” effect. (which are also my favorites 😊)

What can I customize?

You can customize your bow by adding a name or a short dedication.

The color variants you find on the Custom Birth Bows page are the originals that I created.

You can choose the same variant or you can also modify the colors by selecting those you like more or that you consider more suitable for the gift you need to make.

The sizes of the various Birth Bows vary and you can find them written in the detailed descriptions of each bow.
